The BIM Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) in alignment with the client’s BIM Guidelines and Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR). The role focuses on creating and maintaining a federated model, ensuring adherence to the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and supporting design, construction, and asset management integration across project stages.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) as per client and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, guidelines, and protocols across all project stakeholders.
- Manage federated models, integrating architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines.
- Coordinate BIM workflows and clash detection processes using software like Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Dynamo.
- Support design, construction, and asset management integration through BIM methodologies.
- Provide technical support, training, and mentoring to teams for BIM implementation.
- Oversee data integrity, model accuracy, and collaboration among design and construction teams.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination meetings, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in BIM.
