Role Overview:
The General Manager – Business Development will lead strategic growth initiatives
across the Region, focusing on target industries such as oil & gas, infrastructure,
construction, and renewable energy. This leadership role requires deep market
knowledge, proven experience in high-value B2B sales, and end-to-end client lifecycle
management including pricing, negotiation, and contract execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted industries.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to establish strategic partnerships.
Create and manage a robust pipeline of high-quality leads across India and
international zones as assigned.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and
procurement heads.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand business needs and tailor
solutions accordingly.
Sales Process Management:
Develop proposals, conduct pricing negotiations, and close agreements.
Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity to purchase order, invoicing, and
payment collection.
Ensure timely renewals, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Commercial Documentation & Closure:
Draft, review, and finalize proposals, MoUs, NDAs, MSAs, and work orders.
Work closely with legal and commercial teams to streamline contract lifecycle
management.
